How I perceive motherhood & pregnancy
The husband seriously out did himself yesterday in regards to worshipping me as the domestic goddess that I am. I got to sleep in a little bit as he took Spud's 6 AM feeding and then the husband left to surprise me with yummy goodies. He had asked me what type of coffee did I want and with it being early in the morning & my concept of awake/time being askew due to the demands of a 3 week old newborn I just muttered, "Surprise me."
So, he did.
Yes, that is 4 different types of mocha coffee goodness all for me. It was completed with a 1/2 a dozen donuts.
I was able to stay in my pajamas and I even managed a shower that was longer than 5 minutes typically due to the interruptions of my children! It was so nice to be able to relax and not have to worry about anything.
I watched TV on my new TV stand and enjoyed surfing the net on my NOOK tablet.
The husband also grilled steaks & we had salad.
I must do something incredibly EPIC for Father's Day.
Also this past weekend we went to the park as a family where the husband taught Sweet Potato how to skip stones. She had a blast throwing pretty much anything her grubby little hands could grab and dump into the lake with a loud "KA-THUNK!".
Rare photo of the husband smiling. Fantastic action shot.
One simply could not ask for a more magical family centered weekend.
Thanks husband for being so incredibly awesome.
And Spud just woke from his nap. Better get him before he wakes his sister...
